OVERVIEW

Founded in 2007, H&T Medical Solutions LLC (HTMS) is a privately-held software company based in Detroit, Michigan, USA. Our product, MentalNote, was developed and designed by Dr. James Hughes, a psychiatrist who wanted a simple electronic documentation system for his private practice. And now it has evolved into an Electronic Medical Records only for the behavioral health environment. The value it brings is that it saves time when creating medical documentations. Our business model is that if you can't instantly install and simply get started using an EMR, then it's probably not for you.

Dr. Hughes developed MentalNote for his own medical practice after seeing a need for a flexible and intuitive medical documentation and prescription writing program. When he met and befriended then pharmaceutical representative and technologist Thanh Tran, the two decided to form H&T Medical Solutions LLC (HTMS) and offer this electronic medical documentation process to other professionals in the behavioral health industry. Dr. Hughes' work has been nationally recognized and has received recommendation by the APA Corresponding Committee on Electronic Health Records.
